Dr. Maggie Nilson completed her undergraduate work at Ithaca College and then obtained her Master's degree at the University of Arizona, Tucson. She graduated from the University of Florida Working Au.D. program in May 2001. Dr. Nilson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Dispensing Audiologist licensed by the state of Minnesota. She has a wide range of expertise including diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, hearing instrument fittings and patient and family counseling. Prior to joining the team at SoundPoint Audiology, she has worked at two Ear, Nose and Throat offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was also a trainer and technical product manager for Micro-Tech Hearing Instruments manufacturing company.
